Biography
Wenni Eka Damayanti is a Master’s student in Biology at the Faculty of Biology, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. Research focuses on Functional Biology and Plant Development, particularly on plant responses to environmental factors, secondary metabolite production, and the utilization of coastal sand as a growing medium treatment. Particular interests include the cultivation and standardization of Catharanthus roseus (L.) G. Don as a source of bioactive compounds with pharmaceutical potential. Current research aims to contribute to the development of sustainable cultivation systems and the improvement of medicinal plant raw materials. Academic interests include plant adaptation to environmental stress, phytochemistry, and applied plantbiotechnology.
