Rekha Rani is a PhD scholar in Plant Molecular Biology who specializes on plant molecular biology, environmental toxicology and plant stress physiology. Her study examines the intricate relationships between plants and environmental stresses, especially plant and environment interaction in chickpea and pearl millet, heavy metals. Chickpea. She is currently researching the mechanisms underlying stress induced oxidative damage, potential role of endophytic microbes to reduce toxicity, strengthen the antioxidant defense system. She has published book chapters and research paper in various reputed journals. Her research aims to improve our knowledge of how plants adapt to environmental contaminants and help create climate resilient sustainable farming method.
